You'll feel at home at Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network. Our offices – known collectively among us as belonging to the Ontario Central Region – all have an open door policy. The only time a door may be closed is that we are meeting with a client or discussing confidential client information. Other than that, come on in and any one on the management team will be happy to help you.

We have business centres located in the Greater Toronto Area and one in Thunder Bay so we're sure you'll find a location close to home. Many of our advisors choose to be housed in our offices, which provide a professional yet friendly atmosphere. 

At our offices we strive to give you independence to run your own business but give you the support you need when you need it.

Ongoing training and education

We offer many ongoing training programs at our financial centre with the goal to help you run a successful business.

For example, we have a 12 week in-house training program for all new advisors. Training is hosted by our Sales Managers. This prepares new advisors for the daily tasks of their profession covering topics such as prospecting, marketing and setting up your business. This is in addition to training programs conducted by our corporate office.

Also, most Fridays we have meetings provided by our mutual fund advisors that go towards continuing education earning you CE credits, which are mandatory to maintain your financial registrations. And of course, representatives from all the major fund companies and insurers come in and share their product knowledge and sales strategies. We often have visits from the Desjardins Insurance1 Elite Case Team – a corporate group comprised of legal, taxation and insurance specialists.
